Nodality is a new way to create and edit images and textures on iPads. It uses a node based user interface that allows you to create rich networks of images and filters where you can see and edit the results at every step.
For example, to blur an image, hold down on the background for a moment to create a node, define this as an image loader and browse your Camera Roll to assign an image. Next, another long press to create another node, define that as an image filter and set it to a filter/Gaussian blur.
Once you have these two node, another long hold on the image loader enters you into relationship creation mode. Suitable targets turn yellow and you can associate the image with the blur.
To change the blur amount, create a number node and using the relationship creation mode, plug the number into the blur. That same number can be used to set parameters on any number of filters. For example, a single number can be used to set the blur amount and the size of a half screen filter.
You can save the results of your networks back to the Camera Roll by double tapping the preview in the node.
